LEPC Training
Unless identified otherwise, the following training courses conducted or sponsored by the LEPC
are free to Greene County resident responders and facilities.
Registration for these courses can be completed through the
SEMA training website.
National Incident Management System (NIMS) Training

NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 are available online as independent study courses that can be
completed at your own pace. Please visit the
FEMA Independent Study Program (ISP) website
for further details and registration.
NIMS 300 and 400 courses are offered periodically throughout the year in multiple jurisdictions
throughout the state. Please visit the
SEMA training website
for the latest NIMS 300 and 400 course offerings and to reserve a seat in the next class in your area.
Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management will be conducting a NIMS 300 and 400 series of
courses this year specifically for local response partners only.

State Level Training
The Emergency Management Training (EMT) curriculum delivered by the Missouri State Emergency Management
Agency (SEMA) offers an extensive array of training opportunities for State and local emergency managers,
public officials, members of volunteer relief organizations, and professionals in related fields. The EMT
program has proven itself to be a comprehensive and effective vehicle to train state and local officials
in disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.

National Level Training
The National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC) is a DHS training
partner providing high-quality training to emergency responders throughout the United States and its
territories under NDPC's Homeland Security National Training Cooperative Agreement. Preparedness is a
shared, national responsibility requiring our active participation to prepare America to address its threats.
The consortium is made up of the following members:
- Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) in Anniston, Alabama
- New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech)
- Louisiana State University's Academy of Counter-Terrorist Education
- Texas A&M University National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center (TEEX)
- Department of Energy's Nevada Test Site (NTS)
- Transportation Technology Center, Inc. (TTCI)
- National Disaster Preparedness Training Center at the University of Hawaii (NDPTC).
- The Emergency Management Institute
Much of the training through the NDPC is available free of charge to qualified agencies and first responders.
