GEMS (Girls Empowering Minds & Spirits)

something Welcome to the Girls Empowering Minds & Spirits (GEMS) page. It is the goal of GEMS to address the needs/concerns specific to girls in the juvenile system and on probation. How do we do this? With the help of caring professionals, community resources and an open forum where girls can meet and talk about whatever it is that concerns them. Want to know more? Read through our available information, and check back often to see what is new!

Crying

Crying doesn't mean you're we...
It means you've been strong for too long.
Doing bad things doesn't make you a bad person,
It just means you've made a mistake.
Who doesn't?
Every person has a life,
For every life there's a road,
For every road there's a speed bump.
There's no such thing as a failure who keeps trying,
Every day think to yourself,
"God, grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference."
